CHOCOLATE CHIP SNACK CAKE


Here is an easy snack cake that even the novice cook can put together in no time. Very tasty, too. If allergic to nuts, please omit them. The cake is just as delicious without nuts.

1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vinegar
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, brown sugar, walnuts, baking soda, and salt with fork in ungreased 8x8x2 inch square pan. Mix in water, oil and vinegar. Sprinkle chocolate chips over batter. Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean.
