The Webbi List: Add Your Service Here!
The Webbi List invites and encourages companies that offer site add-ons to submit their services for review.
As of this update, the submission form is not ready. Please submit your information via email. Please include the name of the company, a valid URL, and a brief overview of services offered. If your service offers free or paid web hosting, please do NOT submit this information. I'm only interested in site add-ons. Thanks!
Your service must offer at least one of the following:
- guestbooks
- message boards (all types)
- counters
- web stats
- mailing lists
- mailto forms or other form genertor
- make-it-yourself polls, quizzes, and/or surveys
- jumpboxes
- menu redirection
- random content
- webrings
- image generators (graphic text headings or banners)
- Free 4 all links
- Site fights or "top sites" rankings
- Banner rotation/exchange
- Any other add-on that enhances a personal website
Upon submission I will review your service, even sign up for a trial run. Reviews are based on ease of sign up, user friendliness, customer service, and overall consumer satisfaction. It would be helpful to note if your service is free, pay, or upgradable to premium. I need to know, if a free plan can be upgraded, what one gets in exchange for the monthly fee. Also, since this list is primarily geared to the WebTV/MSNTV webmaster, add-on services should be readily accessible, navigable, and easily used with our limited browsers.
Most WebTV units, with the latest upgrade, are equivalent to Internet Explorer 4. WebTV does not have Java capabilities, so if your site has Java, IE 6+, Flash 5+, or advanced javascript, please do not submit your service for review. WebTV users cannot access or use these sites.
Please allow at least two weeks from date of submission, during which I will personally visit the site, try the services offered, then write my review. Good services will receive ample exposure via this list, WebTV mailing lists, and newsgroups. This means more potential customers for you!
