Aaahhh, but then something happened! The figure eights stopped and the positive energy disappeared. What happened next to the pointer is that it jerked over to "NO" for no reason. We asked if HUJ was still with us and again the pointer jerked to "NO". We looked up at each other and we both knew something was wrong. I could see it in J's eyes and I'm sure he saw it in mine.

The "energy" had gone from "friendly" to "uneasy". We felt an evilness, the change was very quick. The familiar figure eights were gone, replaced by quick jerky movements, spelling out messages that were both negative and scary.

This new entity would not give us a name when we asked. The pointer jerked to "NO". It told us that someone close to us had murdered someone, which we couldn't believe. The murdered man's name was Fred, according to this evil spirit. When we asked where "Fred" had lived, it gave us an address that was totally plausible in our area.

It spelled out "I in control" and we asked it to leave us alone and asked HUJ to return. The pointer jerked to "NO". The feelings we got were very, very negative and evil. Evil is the only way to describe the feeling of the force that was now in control of the pointer.

We again told it that we wanted to speak with HUJ and that this one could return later. The pointer pulled in a wild fashion around the board, and went to "YES". J and I looked up at each other. We didn't have to say a word, our eyes said it all.

The pointer then began it's figure eights fashion and we asked if HUJ was there. It went to "YES". The "mood" had also gone back to peacefulness. We asked HUJ if he was just playing with us and he figure-eighted over to "NO".

He figure eighted and spelled out that an evil spirit had contacted us and that we should stay away from him. HUJ said that this spirit did not have a good intent.

We told HUJ that we were going to stop for now and that we enjoyed our talks and thanked him for the help and warning. We said "bye for now" and in his familiar figure eight fashion, he stopped at each letter, spelling out "B-Y-E" rather than just pointing to "GoodBye" on the board.

I did a little research on the Ouija Board and found many accounts that stated that the Board is a "portal" for Evil spirits to communicate. The research that I uncovered validated our own experiences.

Now I understand why my mother refused to have a Ouija Board in her house. When I was very young, she had a scary experience while playing around with a Ouija Board, although she would never tell us the details (my sister knows). She only said that they were "evil" and that she "won't have one in her house". I now understand.

I'm still uneasy about the negative energy that we uncovered. J and I had considered picking up the Board again in future talks, but I just couldn't do it. We have wanted to talk to HUJ and Billy again, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

One thing we DID do is to try to find the address that the evil entity provided to us. We found only an area of clear land with a forest nearby. We will never forget the friendly HUJ or the little boy Billy who claimed that he was murdered and wanted us to find who did it.

There are some things better left alone.
