HOBO NICKEL - "SEA CAPTAIN"

I don't have a name for this one. He is just an ol' ship captain, looking off at the horizion. (Are we about there yet?)
He is carved on a light date 1927 buffalo nickel, that is signed on the reverse with my usual G hanging J mark.

This coin has very high eye appeal, and it has the smoothest, crispest detail of anything I have carved to date. The field is super smooth, and the checker board border really sets it off.
I am sure you would be pleased to have this higher grade carving in your collection.
