HOBO NICKEL - "HARD LOOKING LADY"

We all know at least one of these "hard looking" ladies, I am sure, but hardly ever do you see one of them depicted in an artwork. There is one of them in my life. Her name is Molly, and this is her.
Molly is carved on a 1935 buffalo nickel and it is signed on the reverse with my usual G hanging J mark. It has a lot of good crisp detail and the field is smooth. What you see in the pictue, in front of her face, is a light spot in the toneing that comes out that way because the metal in the coin is crystalized in that spot. In all of the nickels I have carved, this is he first time I have ran into this.

Happy Collecting and thanks for looking,
