Much of what is used for Barbershop music comes under the heading of "Ragtime" and some of those sites will be attached here as well.

One of my earlier memories is being "dragged" off to see a performance of Barbershop music, but even at that young age of 10 or 12, I did enjoy it - of course I would never have admitted it at the time.

If you are a current fan or just investigating, you almost can't stop yourself from appreciating and enjoying the energy and humor in this music. especially at a live performance.

For clarification purposes, it may seem a conflict of terms to offer a MIDI page for barbershop music since the sing "accapella" - without instruments - but MIDI here is offered in the STYLE of barbershop, often also called "piano roll" style, and includes "Ragtime" as the most often used comparison.

At a live performance, I can almost guarentee you will forget that there are no instruments other than voice! Singing in harmony - live - is truly an experience you should not miss !
