1. What's a webring?
In general, a group of people with similar interests that keep in contact via the internet. In this case food and recipes.

2. Who can join?
Anyone ! ( How about YOU?)

4. What do I have to do to be a member?
Nothing besides what's above.

5. Are there membership requirements?
Nope - contribute as much or as little as you like - or simply "lurk"

6.Where are you?
North Highlands, Ca near Sacramento. Most likely in my "jammies", feet up - keyboard in my lap typing away on my WebTV ! --- Where are YOU ?

7. Do other members live near me ?
I dunno yet - I'm still compiling the member list and will attach to the navigation page soon. If not hang in there --- I'm sure there will be soon.

Something tells me that if you are anywhere in CA, someone will be near you ! We even have some members that wish to participate just online from other states and Canada!

8. Will joining generate alot of extra email?
Not if I can help it --- I even send "blind" mailings so you cant see each others email addresses. None of us need any more email "clutter".

9. What about my privacy ?

10. How much participation do you require?
None required, but it would be helpful if you replied to surveys etc that may be in the newsletter. That information will be used to improve the site and plan events.

I'd give you my personal email address, but to tell you the truth, it's unsettling to be working on the site and receive a "ba_zillion" questions and be unable to reply at the moment ------ it makes me feel like I am being sooooo MEAN!

Mail is checked at the mailaroo account several times a day, and I will try to give you a timely reply.

12. Where do I send recipes?
For now please post them on the message board until I get more of the site set up. I'll look for them and send in the newsletter as time allow, maybe later I can accept them at my email account.

14. Why do I get "error" messages at the site pages?
Most likely because those pages are ones that are NOT complete. Check back later or you may keep up with things in the newsletter.

15. Can I invite others to join ?
YUP ! --- and I wish you would. In fact send them this FAQ page with a note that says something like:

"Hey I found a site that looks like it might be fun - check out their FAQ and see what you think."

As far as I'm concerned you can even cut and paste that mesaage to send out.

Just DON'T FORGET to send out the page address ( URL ) so they can find the darn thing !
