I am currently employed with the Dept. of Transportation and have been for almost 23 years.  I also work part time for Joann's Fabric and Crafts.

  I have been married for 24 years and have one son who will be 19 on the first day of spring (March 20th).

My hobbies include collecting recipes (though I doubt that I'll ever live long enough to try them all), cross stitching and sewing (when time allows).  I also like to browse antique stores and flee markets.

I am the oldest of 5 and still have my first barbie doll.

  I don't know what color my hair really is because I have highlighted it for so long, the roots have turned blonde -- ha ha. 

I think having a sense of humor helps get one through the mundane day to day things.  I detest laundry and my idea of pumping iron is standing in front of the TV with the spray starch and a pile of shirts that have lost their 'permanent' press.

I enjoy any free time I have with my friends on their yacht and have been elk hunting,  giving up all the comforts of home to live in the mountains for a week.

I like sushi and red licorice (not necessarily in that order) and have come to the conclusion that life is to short to drink 'cheap' wine.

I am a very active old lady and work part time. Work in the kitchen of a B and B here in Sutter Creek.

Am an Innkeeper when they are gone and a cook and bottle washer all the time. Do lots of walking with a Volkssport Club..an International Walking Club.

Walk organized walks every weekend and do some walks during the week when I can squeeze them in. In charge of 5 walks in my area. Have a million cookbooks!

My name is Robin. I live in the Placerville area, 50 minutes from Sacramento. I live with my wonderful daughter who just turned 18 and my crazy dog Reba.

I own a catering company in Sacramento. I've been in the food biz for 12 years. I've taught cooking classes for about the last 10 years also.

Right now I'm in the process of selling my catering business. I LOVE to cook, but am plain tired out. I now only want to cook for those I love!

I love our ezine to death. It's very entertaining and helpful. What a lucky bunch we are to have stumbled on to this wonderful site. I'm just learning about all the great links on this site.
